Spring Reflections

It’s hard to pass up a good reflection. As I was wandering in the Historic Gardens with my camera the other day, as I often do,  I was struck by the amazing reflections appearing in the Courtyard Pond. It was a very still day, and the sun was poking in and out from behind the clouds.  The weeping cherry on the island made an interesting focal point. As I made my way around the circumference of the pond, taking shots from different angles, the view became more incredible as I ended up with a reflection of the entire sky behind the tree reflections.

And while you are in the vicinity, have a look at the Black Pussy Willow on the south side of the pond!
